Mumbai, the principal metropolis of Western India, the capital of the state of Maharashtra, is a pleasant seafront with a palm-lined promenade and attractive beaches such as Juhu, Versova, Marve, Madh and Manori. Some other tourist destinations of Mumbai are Gateway of India, Mani Bhawan, Prince of Wales Museum, Marine Drive, Juhu, Hanging Gardens, Kamla Nehru Park, Chowpatty, Aarey Milk Colony, Tower of Silence, Jain Temple and Ajanta and Ellora.
