Besides its incomparable natural beauty, Darjeeling offers one of the great railway journeys of the world through ‘Toy Train’ which starts from New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. There are no places in Darjeeling which cannot be visited, however, for the tourists convenience, famous tourist places are Dhoom Gompa, The Mall, Chowrasta, Observatory Hill, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling Rangeet Valley Passenger Ropeway, Tibetan Refuge Camp, Lloyd's Botanical Garden, Tiger Hill, Phalut and Sandakphu, Pashupati, Kurseong, Mirik, Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Batasia Loop, Happy Valley Estate, Natural History Museum, Kanchenjunga View, Darjeeling Zoological Gardens, Bhutia Busty Monasteries and Samten Choling Monasteries.
